The appointment of an occupational safety specialist is a legal requirement for many companies, the scope of which is often underestimated. Section 6 of the German Occupational Safety and Health Act (ASiG) and DGUV Regulation 2 define how businesses must structure their safety-related support. FUTUROSALUD offers companies the option to delegate this task to experienced external occupational safety specialists while retaining control over content and priorities.
An external occupational safety specialist typically supports Risk assessments, contributes to the planning of workplaces, work processes and technical equipment, and advises on protective measures. They accompany inspections, analyse accident causes and participate in training and instruction. It is important that these services are not seen as a one-off measure but as an ongoing process aligned with actual developments in the company.
FUTUROSALUD aims to make cooperation transparent and predictable. Support combines remote support (coordination, documentation and deadline monitoring via the FUTUROSALUD ASI Manager) with targeted on-site visits for inspections and consulting in accordance with Section 6 ASiG and DGUV Regulation 2. In the Rhein-Neckar region around Mannheim, FUTUROSALUD has a network of freelance specialists who visit companies, carry out safety inspections and provide on-site consulting. As part of regular support, the scope of support, priority topics and recurring dates are agreed with management. Reports, action lists and training records are filed in a structured way in the ASI Manager.
For small and medium-sized enterprises, medical practices or research institutions, the external occupational safety specialist model is particularly attractive. Businesses benefit from specialised expertise without having to create an additional full-time position. At the same time, legal requirements from occupational safety law, DGUV Regulation 2 and sector-specific rules are met. This reduces liability risks and strengthens the confidence of staff and business partners.
FUTUROSALUD sees the external occupational safety specialist as a strategic sparring partner. Together with management, priorities are set – for example in risk assessment, ergonomic workplace design or audit preparation. In this way, a legal obligation becomes a tool that sustainably improves safety, health and performance in the company.
